I finally finished this. There was definitely more work than I thought with all the details. I tried two different stitch styles for the eyes and the back wings to see which looked better. I like what I did for the wings... but for the eyes next time... where-as what I did with the eyes... I would do for the wings. (Basically a varied zig-zag/embroidery stitch. Doesn't help you guys, but it makes sense for me... haha)
This one didn't have rib-knit on it either because I didn't want to custom dye to match the color. (Couldn't find any same shade of blue)
This was a good test prototype for future commissions, though it would cost more than something like the Hello Kitty hoodie.
ALSO. This hoodie does not look cute on me. xD I'm too big for cute designs... but it will look fab-o on other people. <3 SIDE NOTE. You can wear a red scarf with this and be from "Can I really be the Hero?"
I like how I keep leaving my petticoat on my mannequin.. and I really need to iron those wings. @_@
I have a question. Did you make that entirely from scratch, or did you use a blank sweatshirt as a base and added on from there? I'm trying to make my own variation of this hoodie of yours, because it's so cute and lovely, and I was just wondering for reference purposes.
*slowly hugs*
I want this so bad!
